Here I Have Tryed to give best information about old portuguse and mark at diu

1)Tower With Big Bell and Big Gate

1.Construction Complete On  24 September 1906.

2.Built During Governor JEO O DE FULAVERI DE MOURUNE.

3.As there is no big Clock on Town So This Big Gate With Tower Constructed.

4.For Construction Of Gate Stones From Porbander (Gujarat) used.

5.This Tower cum Gate is 50ft long and Small Steps Are Available to  go top of Tower.

6.Big Bell Used To Ring At every one Hour.

7.Sound Of Bell is Audible till 5km to 6 km.

8.Big Bell Available in middle of top of tower with little Galary so people can stand

9.This is biggest bell available in diu city.Now this area called Bunder Chowk.

10.when Bridge is not available in diu this is only  gate of bunder through people enter with goods to diu city from Gujarat via check post of portuguse and ghoghla village which also included in portuguse teretory.

 












 

 
















      2)Crane/Pollar/Statue at diu Bunder.

    1) 1782 wooden crane is kept at diu harbor,

1.   2) Kept by Carnel De Souza.

      3) Crane used for transfer Heavy goods from boats. 

         4) This crane is worked by 
              manually .

        5)      In Memory of Carnel De 

          Souza pillor is constructed       with globe on top.

       6)   Stone inscripted kept below pillpr with details in          portuguse.

        7)  Governor order to construct  this pillor on memory     of   carnel de souza.

S 1)statue of KABAKAKA also  constructed naear the pillor of 2)carnel de souza at diu harbor.

  3)Kabakaka is Parsi and he used to run distelery  of portuguse .

  4)He used to believe in all religion and always says jai shri 5)Krishna .

  6)He used to wear  Devechi pagadi.

 7)He is connected to many community in diu and done many social work
